I've been doing this mantra for several days now and plan to continue through the rest of this moon cycle. Oddly enough, I think it makes me yawn? Def love the video tutorial as I play it while I chant. I like mixing up my morning meditation practice. Thank you!!
Yawning is normal. It's easy to associate it with being tired or bored and it's not always the case. Yawning, spiritually, can be seen as a relief value; it decreases cortisol and fatigue in the body. Many of us have trouble relaxing, and if you're yawning during meditation, it may be prompting your body to release stress and tension, increase oxygen intake, stimulate the brain (different from the monkey mind), and soothe your nervous system so that you can get more energized, relaxed, and focused. This meditation, after all, works to balance all of the energy centers. Also, the next time you practice this meditation, notice where your awareness goes. Where in your body are you feeling it? And then focus, or visualize, your energy moving upwards (as with this meditation, moving awareness from the root up through your crown center). Along with it, focus your eyes on the third eye point. It's helpful to focus on upward movement versus downward.
Thank you for this explanation. Yes, I do think I’m exhausted from these past several months, but it’s not just about being tired. It’s about not being able to relax or feel when I’m breathing. As for where I’m feeling it, very often in the back inside of the left part of my head a tingly, buzzing kind of feeling. I’m trying now to focus more on the third eye.

Thank you for this! The video really helps to get the rhythm of the chant.
You’re welcome I’m glad it was helpful!
