This mantra has many names. The Morning Call. The Long Ek Ong Kar. Thunderbolt Mantra.
It breaks down long-standing blocks, clears negative thought loops, restructures subconscious thought patterns, and balances your nervous system.
It opens up the seven energy centers, known as chakras, that are located along the spine, from the base all the way up, with the 8th surrounding the physical body. Each governs aspects of your senses beyond the obvious five: sight, touch, smell, hear, taste.

Wahe Guru
Each energy center gets activated as you sound, or vibrate, the mantra.
Below, I’ve listed where each sound resides, the senses they govern, and the color associated with it.
The lower triangle: your foundation
Ek (one, the single force): at the root, the base, your perineum. Governs your sense of security. This includes belonging. Red.
Ong (creative energy, form): at the reproductive center, the sacrum. Governs your creativity. This includes your boundaries. Orange.
Note: You’ll feel this sound vibrate at the nasal passages.Kar (do, the doer): at the navel center, your core. Governs your sovereignty, personal power, will. This includes trust. Yellow.
Your center: the lighthouse for the lower triangle. When this is closed, the lower triangle suffers. When it’s open, it guides with integrity, not mush.
Sat (truth): at the heart center. Governs love, sense of truth, healing. This includes discernment. Green.
The upper triangle: your rise
Nam (identity): the throat center. Governs expression, manifestation. This goes beyond the literal voice into how you show up. Blue.
Siri (great, highest): the third eye point, between your eyebrows, about a 1/2 inch above and in. Governs your knowing, seeing beyond the surface. Indigo.
Wahe (wow, ecstasy): the crown center, the fontanel. Governs your sense of connection. This either separates us from nature and other sentient beings or we see the interconnection. Violet.
Guru (ignorance to knowledge): your aura, the magnetic field that surrounds and extends beyond you. This protects you from negativity like Earth’s magnetic field, and it projects what’s going on inside you. It can shrink or expand. It can be solid, or there are holes through which negativity and external control can enter. White.
