Wow Savitree, you highlight something that I overlooked. That some people would actually interpret “listening to the body” to include cravings. I’ve been echoing listen to the body all this time and just assumed of course everyone knows not to listen to their cravings.

A clean body is where pleasure and nourishment perfectly align. Cravings simply don’t exist there. When we tell people to 'listen to your body,' we must teach them that a craving is an alarm for an unstable system, not a guide. Rather than following the craving, let it be the signal to follow protocol until your body loses the static. Without this distinction, it’s dangerous, and easy, with all the noise out there, to mistake a dysregulated neuro-chemical loop for true inner wisdom.
