Love your approach to food and life. I really enjoy my meal times when I solely focus on food. 🥘

It makes all the difference in the world, doesn't it? Focusing solely on food during meal time allows us to be present with it, therefore fully nourished by it. :)

I really appreciate your writings on how food is life!! How it can hold energy! For example… when I cook a meal with my partner and we sit down to eat it together we enjoy every bite! It’s full of love and light. It’s alive with it! I love consuming food from the garden.. to know I harvested it just before.. mmmm 😋

I love that!! “no one is going to take it from you hun.. you can take as long as you want to eat it.” I should try that on my Larry who does the same thing… though he does notice how fast he eats as he sees that I’m only almost halfway through mine.

On this note, I’m a person that loves to eat off the same plate. But I can’t with him for that reason. 😂

😆 We do too but I’m worried that I may get my finger nibbled on!

My partner and I, too, grow a small garden together on our city rooftop. It's so fun harvesting and making a meal together. I've also enjoy making meals with friends - so much joy and connection through food. Thanks for sharing your example. I'm happy you resonate with my writings - food definitely is life!

Absolutely!!

I’m enjoying your posts so much and found myself saying .. hey… have you ever slowed down and just in the moment enjoyed the act of eating!? Really tasted your food? He replied… many people had asked him something along the lines of this … as he always scarfs down food quickly and goes back for more stating he is “still hungry.” When I said something I was closing my eyes and just tasting the food that we had just cooked together . I replied with.. “no one is going to take it from you hun.. you can take as long as you want to eat it.” He softened and slowed down.

It was beautiful to watch.
