I am sipping hot water, have had a teaspoon of ghee and the kitcheree is simmering. I have started the 5 day reset.

What do I do in a restaurant? I have one lunch this week with folks I'm looking forward to seeing so I don't want to cancel. The rest of the 5 days are "good".

If your goal is to level up and reset, choose the simplest cleanest cooked plate with no sauce on the menu. I study the menu before I go so I’m not trying to find something acceptable while trying to enjoy my friends. Salads aren’t the answer - it’s raw and the oils aren’t ideal. Choose tea or hot water with lemon over coffee. Skip the ice water altogether.

And then start over the next day. This way you won’t be starting over from a toxic hangover (whether or not you can feel it blatantly isn’t the question).

If it’s to celebrate this meal with your friends and it just wouldn’t be the same if you didn’t eat what you normally eat, then enjoy whatever you want to have with pure abandon and start over the next day.

The purpose of the reset is to reset. If it’s not, then you don’t have to worry about starting over at all and just go on and finish your five days - it’s still good.

Your body needs consecutive days or weeks (for a generally healthy person) of cleansing to rid itself of the accumulated toxins. This said, a 3-day reset may be sufficient, again, depending on your body.

Close your eyes and listen, Faye. You know what to do. Let me know if you have more questions.
